Gluten free baked turkey meatballs in a bowl.

I love the texture of these gluten free turkey meatballs because they are soft and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The crisp comes from the olive oil and Parmesan cheese inside of them. SO good.

I am also a HUGE fan of using rolled oats to replace bread crumbs in meatballs. It is an easy and healthy way to make them gluten free. My ground turkey meatball with oats, spinach oat meatballs, and almond flour meatballs and sauce are other delicious meatball recipes that I love.

Expert tips

  • If you only have shredded Parmesan or a shredded cheese available, put the cheese into a food processor and mix until the texture is that of grated cheese.
  • If you want to make your meatballs more golden in color, broil for one minute at the end.
  • To make sure that this recipe is gluten free, make sure your rolled oats are certified gluten free.

  1. Hi! I’m going to make this recipe tonight, what do you think about using cassava flour instead of tapioca? I don’t have any tapioca flour. This recipe sounds delish!
