A few weeks ago I made this Healthy Buffalo Turkey Meatloaf recipe and it was an instant hit! It’s got the most irresistible buffalo hot sauce seasoning, made lighter with ground turkey and topped in a yummy tomato hot sauce glaze.

It’s a naturally clean recipe, that just so happens to be Paleo, Whole30, and Gluten-free.

If you love buffalo flavored anything… this recipe is for you!

Not only is this Healthy Buffalo Turkey Meatloaf super delicious, it’s also super easy to make!

All you need to do is put all of the ingredients— the ground turkey, almond flour, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, chili powder, and eggs— in a large bowl and mix.

Then you put all of the mixed ingredients into a baking loaf tin, top it with my quick healthy tomato hot sauce glaze and bake the meatloaf for one hour.

One hour is all it takes and you have a delicious dinner, with leftovers( that you actually want), ready.

Though, with my husband around these leftovers did not last long. He loves this Healthy Buffalo Turkey Meatloaf!

I love doubling this recipe for Sunday mealprep and then having a slice of this delicious meatloaf all week for lunch.

I’ve even doubled the recipe before to bring to a party and everyone loved it! Without even realizing that it was a healthy recipe. 🙂

I do recommend using regular ground turkey here and not 99%fat free, so that the meatloaf won’t be dry.

I love how this Healthy Buffalo Turkey Meatloaf really cooks in it’s own juices, and how this enhances the ground meat, hot sauce, and tomato flavors.

NOM.

Also, I highly recommend using Frank’s Redhot as your hot sauce because it made out of all natural ingredients, and is delicious!

Hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

  1. I absolutely LOVED this.  My problem was my meatloaf completely crumbled when I tried cutting it.  It was still delicious, but we had to eat it with spoons.  Any suggestions?5 stars

    1. What percent ground turkey did you use? I find that if it dries out it does get crumbly. I usually use regular ground turkey and then after it cooks, I like to let it sit for 10 minutes to let the juices reabsorb back into the meatloaf. I hope that helps!!!

  2. You had me at buffalo. I love everything buffalo but wings!lol I love the idea of a healthy version of meatloaf, because no one will eat the traditional kind at home.

  3. Love this recipe. I’ve pinned it for later. I haven’t tried the almond flour, but am excited to. Plus, I love your choice of hot sauce 😉

    1. Almond flour really works well in place of bread crumbs. 🙂 Let me know if you try it!

  4. Ohhh..this looks good! My husband and I would eat this like crazy. Our kids on the other hand, would not because of the spice. I make a meatloaf that they LOVE, buuuutttt, it’s far from healthy. I figure at least they are getting protein in them!

    1. Thank you! 🙂 Yes spices are always tough with kiddos… got to do what you got to do!
